Charlie Boyajian
Founding Partner
Charlie Boyajian, 44, is a founding partner and has been President of Polaris Benefit Solutions, LLC since its formation in 2004.
In early 2005 he was elected Chairman of the Board of Delta Pilots Mutual Aid (DPMA), a 501(c) 9 VEBA supplemental disability plan. He is currently guiding the transformation of DPMA’s benefit payment structure and is a subject matter expert to both Delta and the Air Line Pilots Association regarding Disability and Survivorship Plan issues. Before that he held Board positions on the Executive Committee as Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer and was one of the main architects of DPMA’s achieving VEBA status, quadrupling assets, and overhauling the financial direction, investment management and capitalization structure of the plan.
Mr. Boyajian also sits on the Board of the Delta Community Credit Union (DCCU). The DCCU is the largest credit union in Georgia and is in the top 20 nationally and he is assisting in the DCCU’s transformation from a single sponsor to a community-based institution. Prior to his Board appointment in 2005, he spent four years on the Credit Committee, where he was responsible for lending policies and overall financial oversight.
Mr. Boyajian is also a Captain for Delta Air Lines, flying the B-757 and B767 out of Atlanta. He has flown numerous different aircraft during his 17-year career and has been an instructor pilot and Line Check Airman. He served as the Retirement and Insurance Committee Chairman for the Delta Air Line Pilots Association, Local Council 44 for over eight years from 1996-2004.
Mr. Boyajian’s prior career includes over 20 years of service as both an Active and Reserve Naval Aviator in a number of billets including, flight instruction, legal, weapons, operations, maintenance, administration, and flying the F/A-18 Hornet off of the USS Coral Sea in the Mediterranean. He retired as a Lieutenant Commander in 2003.
A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Mr. Boyajian has a BS in Economics, majoring in Finance, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Houston, at Victoria. He and his wife Caron have two daughters and reside in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Mr. Anthony Rohloff
Founding Partner
Prior to joining Polaris Benefit Solutions, LLC, Mr. Rohloff served on the Executive Committee of Delta Pilots Mutual Aid. Treasurer and Vice Chairman his responsibilities included the organizations treasury, financial planning, purchasing, statistical analysis and accounting activities. He was integral part of a top down review which facilitated DPMA’s transformation to the industries leading Mutual Aid Organization.
Mr. Rohloff is also an international pilot for Delta Air Lines. He is also the resident expert for pilot retirement, insurance and disability issues.
Mr. Rohloff was a combat pilot flying A-6E Intruders with the United States Navy and an F-16 pilot with the Air National Guard from 1987 – 2000. He has also been the Commander of two Air Force Reserve Units.
Mr. Rohloff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics/Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Mr. Peter Wilke
Founding Partner
Mr. Wilke is a founding partner of Polaris. He most recently served as Chairman of Delta Pilots Mutual Aid (2002-2005). During this period he implemented a detailed analysis of data to identify disability trends, which led to funding for future disabilities based on the results of the analysis. He also oversaw a review of vendors to DPMA, resulting in the establishment of business relationships that better suited DPMA.
Prior to this, he served first as a Trustee and then as First Vice-Chairman of Delta Pilots Mutual Aid (1998-2001). He is a pilot (Flight Engineer and First Officer) at Delta Air Lines since 1991. Previous to this, he was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as a Combat Engineer Officer, Naval Aviator and Weapons and Tactics Instructor (1979-1991). Each of these billets of increasing responsibility helped Mr. Wilke achieve and hone his business acumen. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Political Science) from the University of Montana.
Mr. Robert B. Fuller Jr.
Founding Partner
Bob Fuller is a founding partner of Polaris. Prior to forming the company, he was the vice chairman of Delta Pilots Mutual Aid for five years (2000-2005) and served as a trustee for six years (1999-2005). He responsibilities included strategic planning, disability trends and forecasting.
Bob was a pilot for Delta Air Lines for 8 years (1997-2005). He served as a captain and pilot instructor. He has extensive knowledge of retirement, insurance and disability issues. Prior to this he served 20 years (1976-1997) in the Navy and Marine Corps as a special operations aviation commander, operations officer, weapons and tactics instructor and infantry officer. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
